BIG SUCTION IN A COMPACT BODY - The Prolux Tritan is a powerful deep cleaning vacuum cleaner that is designed to clean carpet, rugs, hardwood floors, tile and more! With its on board tools, rubber wheels that will protect your floors and self-retracting cord it’s incredibly simple and easy to use!
SEALED HEPA FILTRATION - High end HEPA filtration retains all of the fine dust pulled into your vacuum.
MADE TO LAST AND A WARRANTY TO BACK IT UP - Our Prolux Tritan vacuum is designed with a bypass valve that will open up if your vacuum bag or hose becomes clogged, preventing the motor from burning out! This allows Prolux to offer a one year manufacturer bumper to bumper warranty! EPA Establishment Number: 100571-UT-1
LIGHTWEIGHT AND SCRATCH FREE - This vacuum is very light weight and is designed with rubber wheels to avoid scratching your floors! Big clunky vacuums can scratch and scrape your floors, so we provide a vacuum that glides across your floors with ease.
ATTACHMENTS CONVENIENTLY LOCATED ON BOARD - Gone are the days of losing your vacuums accessories! Our vacuum cleaners come with the tools conveniently attached to your wand using the provided caddy. These tools include: duster brush, for all your dusting needs. Crevice tool to get in between cushions and against walls. Upholstery tool for couches and car interior. Also includes two main heads! One with a spinning brush roll for carpet and one which excels on any hard floor type.
First off, I don’t leave reviews but felt compelled to leave one for this project. (Maybe it’s because within the instructions there’s a letter from the CEO that made me laugh). Secondly, it should be known this is my first day using this vacuum and I haven’t used all the attachments yet. Third, so far…this vacuum is AMAZING! Here’s the pro’s and cons’:SUCTION: Is incredible! It’s so powerful. It’s sucks literally everything. One small con to this is that there’s almost too much such for things like area rugs. BUT, there’s an air release on the handle and you can lower the power level on the canister and it works just great.MANEUVERABILITY: Good. The wheels are smooth, BUT I’d prefer wheels that rotated so I can easily get around furniture better. But absolutely NOT a deal breaker.ACCESSORIES: This is my biggest CON. They hook to the metal stick but one bump against a chair, couch (or toilet in my case) and the accessories fell off. Yep, one of mine fell in the toilet. So I’ll figure out how to attach them better or will have to take off the accessory clip when I’m actually vacuuming. Again, not a deal breaker.WEIGHT: It’s very light weight. They pride themselves on making quality vacuums so time will tell.I’ll try and come back after a few more uses but overall, so far, I’m in love! MADE IN THE USA and instructions that’ll you’ll actually want to read ;)Very lightweight! Great suction! Perfect for anyone who doesn't want to push and pull an upright! (Which hurt my back) The only thing I would change is the cord length. The cord is retractable so that's a plus. Step on a little button...and it sucks it right up! I would definately recommend this vacuum!I purchased this for our condo. I’d had a central vacuum in the house we moved from so I was hesitant to go to a canister, however I needed something for wood floors, tile and rugs plus steps I’m pleasantly surprised at how versatile the vacuum is. Lightweight so it is easy to maneuver. The attachments are easily changed and the suction level can be adjusted for the flooring. It did not come with a dust mop attachment however I contacted the company and they told me exactly what I needed and I was able to purchase one. The instructions to assemble were easy to understand and it only took a few minutes. I am so far impressed with the customer service and follow up.Wow so impressed with this vacuum, i purchased it for my cleaning business . So far i love the suction and how great it picks up. It’s a little heavier than i expected but it’s ok i love it . If you’re looking for a commercial vacuum get this one .I am elderly and was looking for a Miele replacement that didn't cost like the Miele. The Prolux is perfect. It maneuvers easily, is light and has more than sufficcient suction. I had ordered 7 different vacuums before I found Prolux Tritan! Checked all my boxes!!!Great purchase would recommend to anyone that not interested in the one-piece vacuumsEver since I was a young kid, I’ve had adversarial relationships with vacuum cleaners. At home, when mom assigned me the vacuuming chore, I remember using a Lewyt metal canister vacuum. I hated it because the nameplate made a horrific buzzing sound that I couldn't stand. I'd give it a swift kick and the buzzing would stop for a while- only to need another kick later- plus it never rolled straight. Of course that was the 1960s and vacuum cleaners have improved immensely. This Tritan by Prolux is (so far) everything I could hope for in a vacuum. It replaces a Eureka canister vacuum that we had for years that was OK, I guess. I got tired of fixing the broken hose (connection to the vacuum body) with gaffers tape, and when you pushed the cord retract button, the AC power plug would retract with so much force that it would wedge itself into the vacuum so that I needed a pair of pliers to extract it.On the Prolux Tritan, the cord retractor works smoothly and not too fast. Plus you can pull the cord out from its fully retracted position without dragging the whole vacuum across the room. I also like that the motor starts somewhat gradually. So if you accidentally left it turned on, and you plug in, it doesn't end up scaring the crap out of you. It more gradually comes up to speed. Even at the maximum setting, this vacuum is quiet (vacuuming fatigue isn’t just physical). The suction is very strong and it is adjustable. You can vary the suction with the "diverter valve" on the hose nozzle (like most vacuums of this type) AND with the knob on the vacuum which varies motor speed. It really keeps you from accidentally sucking in lighter rugs, drapes and such. For the most part, the attachments are excellent. The bare floor brush (which has a rocker switch that either lowers or raises the brush) broke so that the brush was extended all of the time. I contacted Prolux about this and they immediately sent me a replacement floor brush attachment at no charge. Excellent customer service! The hose end and extension tubes are slightly larger in diameter than most vacuums. It just means that if you have attachments from other vacuum manufacturers, they won’t fit. I don’t think that matters except for the dust brush which is kind of crappy. It turns out that our old dust brush made of rubber can be shoved onto the hose end and/or extension tubes. The vacuum comes with extra bags and a hook/razor tool that allows you to easily remove hair that gets stuck in the rotary brush attachment. Oh yes, I almost forgot: I love that it has HEPA filtration. Great for asthmatics like me.You get a lot of vacuum for the $. It’s a very good value considering the quality and engineering that was put into it. It seems built to withstand years of normal use, but time will tell. But for now, it’s everything I would want in a vacuum. It pulled dirt out that had been left by a Hoover.
