Spoiler Alert: I LOVE this UONI X1 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner!I have two or three vacuum cleaners all of which are probably, at least, 15 years old. I wanted a cordless vacuum (I was thinking an "electric broom") but found this vacuum, albeit substantially more expensive than an electric broom but priced lower than similar cordless vacuum cleaners.I have several dogs. In spite of brushing and grooming the dogs regularly, I find a lot of dust and dog hair accumulating each day. Sweeping and using a dust pan to clean up tends to be a lot of trouble to repeat daily. (I'm well into my 80s and poor balance makes it difficult for me to use a broom while holding on to something to prevent falling.)What I like (love) about this vacuum:1) It does exactly what it is intended to do. It picks up dirt, dust, both fine and clumps. (I've only used the vacuum on its lowest power setting—of three—which has been sufficient to do the job.)2) It is really quiet! I didn't know a vacuum could be this quiet. (Remember, all my old vacuums are quite old.)3) It has "headlights." I didn't realize how important lights can be — none of my old vacuums have them— but they sure help to see the dust and to see the dust disappear!4) The vacuum cleans to the edges. I don't have a length of wall where I can run the vacuum alongside (parallel) to the wall but approaching sections of wall or cabinets in a perpendicular direction the vacuum cleans all the way to the edge of the wall or cabinet.5) Emptying the dirt and dust from the canister is incredibly easy. Hold the vacuum unit over your waste basket, press a "button" on the unit and whoosh…the dirt is deposited in your waste container.6) The vacuum can be hung on a wall with the included wall attachment.Notes: I usually prefer to wait weeks or months (years) before I leave a review. That allows potential problems to surface. Because there were no reviews for this product, I decided to write a review sooner than I normally would.When I first unpacked the vacuum, I was unable to open the canister nor remove it. I invited a friend to try and he immediately succeeded. Since my friend did it, I, too, was able to accomplish these tasks.My main concern (see photo): There appears to be a "white strip" coming loose in the machine. My guess is that it could be some sort of "seal" or gasket meant to keep dust from entering where it does not belong. Meanwhile, I am hopeful the machine will continue to perform flawlessly.So far, so good…I paid $170 for this and the price is even higher now. if I had tested it I would maybe pay 50$. the suction is so weak it's only useful for some light crumbs on a hard floor, and the battery dies after doing one room. maybe it could be good for your car if you like wasting money. sadly I waited too long and can't return it.it sucks up small particles but when comes to little pebbles that are on your front door rug, as soon as you shut off vacuum they pebbles fall to the floor.. not a vey good suction at all.It was fantastic at first. Then shortly after, would not hold a charge, and the battery would get quite hot.The best thing we found for our new homeWe moved from an entirely carpeted home to a home withmostly wood floors, but carpeted stairs. We had a huge, heavyvacuum that we were lugging up and down three stories. I waslooking for something more portable but not low power.Between cats and toddlers, we needed it to work like a heavyduty machine.Set up was simple and its so light, my four year old canmaneuver it. I wasnt expecting to use it on our wood floors asmuch as we do, but we use it every single day. Up the stairs,on the wood floors, under the kitchen cabinets - simple,charges fast and easy to clean afterward. I cannot say anythingbad about this vacuum - I just love it.This vacuum cleaner very quick and easy to easy. Plastic quality good, the battery can be replaced and buy from Amazon. I happy with this purchase!I tried this for a couple of weeks trying to pick dust a small particles like uncooked rice and it seemed to being the trick however I tilted the roller head and everything fell out. It can only suck up dust or dust like particles in to the dust bin. Anything larger gets caught on the roller or the head. If it’s in the head then it falls out when you stop the vacuum and if it’s on the roller quite likely the roller will get stuck very quickly.Love it on hard floors, but hopeless on carpets and mats for picking up animal fur. The waste bin is also a bit difficult to get everything out unless you take it all apart. I would recommend if you don’t have animals.
